Windhorse Integrative Mental Health is a semi-residential program for adults suffering from life-disrupting mental states. As opposed to a hospital or residential setting, our support and structure comes not from a building or facility, but from a dynamic, compassionate, and integrated clinical team providing one-on-one support. Windhorse has three communities in the United States: Northampton, Massachusetts; San Luis Obispo, California; and Portland, Oregon. The foundational principle of our program is healing through relationship and community.
Inspired by the vision that psychiatric recovery is possible, Windhorse has offered holistic, compassionate care for over 30 years. An alternative to residential treatment, Windhorse uses mindfulness-informed clinical teams and therapeutic households to support our clients’ recovery journey. Through this strong web of support, clients experience the same level of dignity and respect as their peers whose lives have not been disrupted by mental health challenges—they are actively engaged in their community, creating a life of meaning and independence.
